I’ll look into it tonight. GLI had some revs during writing the book and things might be out of date.

OK, I reverted the change in question, closing https://github.com/davetron5000/gli/issues/53If you gem update gli or otherwise make sure you are using 1.3.5 of GLI, you should be good to go.
